These guidelines covers all Schibsteds mediahouses in Norway.

All ad assets needs to be delivered in correct HTTPS URLs. This includes both tags and the elements in the ad, like font and picture.
Deadlines ad assets
One ad day runs from midnight to midnight. Days are business days.
All ad assets should be sent to:
The subject field must contain the case number and booking number. In case of late delivery of assets, Schibsted can unfortunately not guarantee that publication will take place at the agreed time. The customer also loses their right to complain.
Deadlines for delivery of assets before publication

3 BUSINESS DAYS, latest 12:00 pm

Booking conditions banners
- Reservations that are made 30 days before campaign start are valid for 21 days.
- Reservations that are not confirmed booked within 21 days, are automatically cancelled.
- Reservations within 30 days of campaign start are valid for 4 days.
- Reservations that are not confirmed booked within 4 days, are automatically cancelled unless otherwise has been agreed.
Rules and reservations
The advertiser is responsibel for the ad assest and it is of the utmost importance that the ads work properly. Schibsted therefore reserves the right to immediately, and without notice, remove ads that are not working satisfactorily. This could be ads that are not in accordance with the marketing law, are not approved by the responsible companies, or look to similar to the editorial content. It could also be ads that are using unreasonable amounts of the computer processor CPU (Central Processing Unit). Schibsted adops test the banner ads in the latest browsers.
Ad assets lay out:
- The ad asset shall not blinke more than three times a second in animated ads. Max duration for animated ads are 30 seconds.
- All ads must contain the advertisers logo.
- Ads shall not containe sexual, violent or offensive messages.
- Ads that can mislead the user e.g. competitions or subscriptions may be rejected.
Ads similar to editorial content need to:
- Have color background similar to minimum 10 percent grey (or another color) or have a black frame at least minimum 1 pix.
- The font can not be the same or be similar to the font used in the editorial content.
- Mark «ANNONSE» with bold black 12 size font.
- Show logo that must be fill at least 8% of the total ad space.
- Text shal have a minimum 10 pixel margin to the outer frame.
- Link texts can not be red, and the phrase shall stand out from the mediahouse editorial text links. The phrase "Les saken" cannot be used.
- A general rule is that ads similar to Schibsteds mediahouse's editorial profile shall be approved by the Editor in Chief before publishing.
General reservation deadlines
1. Within the next 3 days –> Cannot reserve, only sale accepted
2. Within the next 15 days –> Reservations can be kept for 3 days
3. Between 15 and 30 days prior –> Reservations can be kept for 4 days
4. Between 30 and 120 days prior –> Reservations can be kept for 15 days
5. More than 120 days prior –> Reservations can be kept for 30 days
6. WebTV: Reservations will automatically be deleted 40 days prior to campaign start
7. VGTV: Within the next 40 days –> Reservations kept for 3 days
8. VGTV: Within the next 10 days –> Reservations kept for 2 days.
No reservations expires Saturdays or Sundays.
Cancellation or moving
- Cancellation later than 10 days prior to campaign start = 25 % must be payed
- Cancellation later than 3 days prior to campaign start = 100 % must be payed
- Moving campaign 10 days or more prior to campaign start = OK
This applies only if new dates are agreed and impressions are available. Start date can only be moved one time. Moving a campaign more than 30 days forward is considered as a cancellation and cancellation rules are applied.
Cancellation and moving - VGTV
- Cancellation later than 20 days prior to campaign start = 25 % must be payed
- Cancellation later than 10 days prior to campaign start = 100 % must be payed
- Moving campaign 20 days or more before campaign start = OK
This applies only if new dates are agreed and impressions are available. Start date can only be moved one time. Moving a campaign more than 30 days forward is considered as a cancellation and cancellation rules are applied.
Compensation
The client or agency must claim compensation within reasonable time, and no later than 10 days after published campaign.
Price
We strive to keep our ad prices posted on the ad web up dated at all times. However, if there is a deviation between prices at the ad web and prices the sales rep has listed in our booking system or in Appnexus Console, it is the prices from the sales rep or the Console-prices that will be applied.
